Step 3 — Prepare Required Documents
Passport (valid 3+ months beyond your return date), passport photo, travel insurance covering €30,000+ medical costs, proof of accommodation, return flight itinerary, and proof of sufficient funds.
Step 4 — Apply via France-Visas or VFS/TLScontact
Submit your application online at france-visas.gouv.fr, then attend an in-person appointment (biometrics) at your nearest French consulate or an authorized visa center — VFS Global or TLScontact depending on your country.
Step 5 — Pay the Visa Fee & Wait for Processing
The standard Schengen visa fee is around €90 for adults. Processing typically takes 15 days but can extend to 30–60 days during peak season, so apply as early as possible.
